Why not 365?

Who knew I would fall so hard for photography? After convincing myself that if I hadn't become a photographer after nearly a decade of photo editing, I'd never be one, "31" has proven me wrong. Now, I can't imagine going through a day without taking a picture. (Or 80, for that matter.) I can't just look at other people's images anymore-- I have to figure out how they made them. I spend my lunch breaks drooling over Canon lenses and neutral-density filters online. My most excited conversations revolve around white balance, or shutter speed, or some other technique I want so badly to master. I have become a total, unabashed photography nerd.
But I'm okay with that. Because considering the year ahead-- Airstream living, cross-country traveling, settling in to a new town so completely different from the one we're in now-- I can't imagine passing up the opportunity to document as much of it as I can.
So here's a photograph to kick off my new project, "365," which you can continue following here. Interested? Join me, even if just for a week or a month. It's really not as hard as it seems. Just one little photo a day. Come on. We can do it.

Hmmm, perhaps as you learn you might reveal the masters to be the frauds they are! Afterall, can you ever really know a man for whom you can only see one of his eyes?
Welcome to the fold. We're glad you're here ;)

I can definitely relate to catching the photography bug. It's 9 years later and I'm still obsessed! It's a long and rewarding learning process. The single best piece of advice I can give is this: shoot, shoot, shoot, and then shoot some more! You're already on the right track with project 365. Best of luck!
I love your photographs and can't wait to see how your adventures unfold. (Also love the bumper sticker idea in your other post! Hope your bon voyage is incredible.)
